Competing in a series of Laugh-offs contestants will be awarded the title 2015 NC Laughter Champion by the crowd and our winner will be entered into the North American Laughter Championship. The 2014 NC Laughter Champion was recently crowned the North American Laughter Champ at the contest held in Atlanta.

Return of The Rap Battle

This classic show is a real crowd pleaser. An NCCAF staple of years gone by, 16 emcees will take the stage in an all-out improvised battle of wits, rhymes, and tenacity. The show is a single-bracket elimination-style tournament of the best improvising emcees in North America. At the end of the night, only one emcee will remain standing and be declared the 2015 NCCAF Rap Battle Champion.

Awesome Special Events Throughout the Entire Festival

Every year the festival hosts a number of special events and parties. NCCAF 2014 featured even more events, after parties, and comedy showcases including a Comedy-Inspired Art Show, an Adult Spelling Bee, the Third Annual Great Durham Pun Championship, A Night of Comedic Stories hosted by DSI Comedy Theater and The Monti, educational panel discussions, and so much more.
