NORTH CAROLINA COMEDY ARTS FESTIVAL

The Largest Comedy Festival in the Southern United States, produced by the DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro, NC.

STANDUP WEEK, February 1—4 | SKETCH WEEK, February 8—12 | IMPROV WEEK, February 14—19

We've been working since February 2001, curating and producing one of the premiere comedy festivals in the country right in the liberal heart of North Carolina. Acts from New York, LA, Chicago, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and every city in between flock here to perform, network and develop as the next generation of comedy talent.

Now, 2012 may be the very last NCCAF — if the Mayans have anything to say about it — so we are planning on destroying ALL your comedy festival expectations. Yeah, we set the bar high. Always. GET READY!

WE DEFINE COMEDY HUSTLE!

Our 2012 Comedy Festival will features Acts from all over North America performing in 7 local Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Durham venues during the month of February.

NCCAF has featured the most amazing comedy in the country.

In 2007 LOUIS CK saved comedy when he flew down to step in last minute for Horatio Sanz. His performance was EPIC! Other truly inspiring festival acts have included Eddie Brill, Bassprov, Drum Machine, The Josh & Tamra Show, Death by Roo Roo, and Chicago's The Reckoning. Just last year NCCAF featured both standup and improvised sets performed by Comedy Legend Emo Philips.

Emo Philips transcends comedy.
