DSI Comedy Theater

The NC Comedy Arts Festival is the largest comedy festival in the Southern U.S. featuring improv and standup comedy. NCCAF premieres two new components in 2010: Sketch Comedy and Film & Video.

Sketch Comedy, February 4–6

Premiering at this year's festival is a week of sketch comedy featuring Fantastic Genius from New York City, Annabelle Goes It Alone.. from Toronto, The Ruckus from Boston, and North Carolina's own DSI Witness News.

Standup, February 11–14

This year's festival features more than 50 standup comedians including Eddie Brill, house comic and talent co-ordinator for The Late Show with David Letterman, and impressionist extraordinaire Mike MacRae.

Improvisation, February 16–21

The staple week of NCCAF will rock five stages and feature more than 80 groups including festival faves Jill Bernard, Beatbox, Death by Roo Roo and Aphasia. With teams coming in from Austin, Boston, Los Angeles and Toronto.

Film & Video, February 25–27

A festival first, our inaugural film and video component will leave you laughing on the edge of your seats. Join us for popcorn as we screen Feature-length films and some of the best clips made for the small screen.
