Comedy #Hustle Army

The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival has already started looking for volunteers and interns to help with 2015 festival production. To apply for an internship, please read this page in its entirety and then contact us.

Interns will be scheduled to work with producers in the planning, promotion and presentation of the festival events. This may include flyering, postering, ushering, box office and hospitality along many other tasks. Festival interns have full access to festival shows and events. Interns will be given one (1) class credit with the DSI Comedy School in the current year, following the festival. Internships will be made available to people both living in the Triangle Area and to those traveling from out of town.

NCCAF Intern Training

The festival staff, which also works on a volunteer basis, will provide you with the training you need to help with the associated tasks. There will be scheduled meetings leading up to and throughout the festival.

Applying to be an Intern

Send an email to festival@nccomedyarts.com with some background information on yourself, explain why you feel you would make an "AWESOME" festival intern (REMEMBER that for us Customer Service and #Hustle are baseline expectations), Tell us why you feel the continued success of the NC Comedy Arts Festival is important for the local community and why you believe in the cult(ure) of improv or at least the notion "Support Your Local Comedy" — Thanks!

General Volunteering

If you can not be a dedicated intern, but would still like to help volunteer, promote and support the festival, please email festival@nccomedyarts.com and we can talk about available opportunities.
