Volunteer for NCCAF

NCCAF will be looking for volunteers and interns to help with 2010 festival production. To apply for an internship, please read this page in its entirety and then contact us.

Interns will be scheduled to work with producers to assist in the planning, promotion and presentation of the festival and its events. This may include flyering, postering, ushering, box office and hospitality along with many other tasks.

Festival interns will have full access to festival shows and events. Interns will be given one class credit with the DSI Comedy Training Center in the current year. Internships will be made available to people both living in North Carolina and to those traveling to the festival from out of town.

Intern Training

The festival staff, which also works on a volunteer basis, will provide you with the training you need to help with the associated tasks. There will be scheduled meetings leading up to and throughout the festival.

Applying to be an Intern

If you want to apply to be an intern, send our staff a short email with some information about yourself, why you feel you would make an "awesome" festival intern, and also tell us why you feel the continued success of the NC Comedy Arts Festival is important for both the comedy community and our local improv scene.

General Volunteering

If you do not wish to be an intern, but would still like to help with the production of the festival, email and we can talk about available opportunities. info@nccomedyarts.com
