Tim Höeckel
Tim Höeckel (pronounced Heckle) was born with a name for, or possibly against comedy. Heckle him from the crowd but he’s been getting it since day one, literally. Alicia Keys told him that New York City was a "concrete jungle where dreams are made of" so that is where he lives, pursuing his passion of making people laugh. For Tim, comedy is not just an avenue for slapping together jokes. It is a way to create original material based on personal experiences (nicknames, dreams, various mustaches & foods) and present it with a style and energy that you will not see from everyone else. So go ahead, indulge.
Tim is a company member of Charleston, SC's Theatre 99 where he performed stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy until moving to NYC from Charleston. He has opened multiple shows for Tim Meadows and Uncle's Brother, was Host and Opener for 2 shows of The Atypical Southern Comedy Quartet Tour, has performed at The Charleston Comedy Festival, Piccolo Fringe Fest, Annapolis Comedy Festival, and was winner of The 2009 Charleston Comedy Festival's Stand-Up Competition.
