Rudy Mendoza

Rudy Mendoza is a young standup comic fresh out of college. In 2010 he won the TBS National College Comedy Championship and in 2011 he performed in the Semifinals of the College Improv Tournament in Chicago with Theatre Strike Force. He performed this summer at the Just for Laughs Festival in Chicago and twice at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival and has opened for Todd Barry, Christian Finnegan, Kyle Kinane, and Brian Posehn.

Originally from Miami, Rudy currently lives in Gainesville, FL where he performs stand up and improv regularly. He hosts the Gainesville Comedy Scene Podcast where he's interviewed standup comedians and members of the Second City, iO and Annoyance Theaters who have roots in Gainesville. After this year's NCCAF he will officially live in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, so that worked out pretty well.
