Amanda Scherle

A mother of not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 boy children, all vying for the title of Peter Pan, Amanda Scherle knows all about the theory that you can either laugh or cry; she, however, believes it’s better to make the audience laugh so hard they do the crying for you. A dash of cute and a dollop of full on sexy don’t hurt, either!

Trained in drama and immersed in all things funny since enrolling in her first class at DSI Comedy Theater in 2007 including improv, sketch comedy, and standup, Amanda brings a sexy voice, imposing stage presence, and her own brand of child, family, and life induced insanity to the standup scene. Amanda has trained with Eddie Brill (Late Show with David Letterman), Paul Thomas (Chicago Underground Comedy), Zach Ward (DSI/ImprovBoston), Richard Perez (Chicago Dramatists), and John Betz, Jr.
