Michael Smith

Born the son of a sharecropper Michael taught himself how to read and write by listening to his teacher’s instructions. He used humor to escape the harsh realities of growing up in the suburbs.

After five short years Michael graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelors degree in Hilarity, but mostly History. He spent the next five years sitting at a desk working for the Department of Homeland Security. While on a date he went to a Comedy Club in Laurel, MD. They announced comedy classes only $10.00 a class. It was an offer he couldn't refuse. Thus began his journey as a comedian and he hasn't looked back.
