Michael Clayton has been a driving force in the Charleston, SC comedy scene for over three years and is showing no signs of slowing down.
During his time in the stand-up community he has proven to be a very popular act with not only audiences, but with other comics as well. With a unique style that blends personal experiences, observations, edgier fare, pop and nerd culture, and current events, Michael has proven himself to be a versatile and engaging performer.
He has performed at the Charleston Comedy Festival Competition for 3 years, was a performer in the Piccolo Spoleto RISK! Storytelling Show with “The State” alumni Kevin Allison, and has performed several times as a part of the “This is Chucktown” stand-up show at Theatre 99. He has also hosted several sold-out stand-up showcases in Charleston, including the immensely successful "Comedy for a Cause" charity events in support of gay rights. He can be seen performing regularly at several venues across the Carolinas and elsewhere.
