Hunter Gardner

Hunter Gardner is a stand up comedian and improvisor in Charleston, S.C.

He first got his start in improv with the Comic Improv Alliance at N.C. State in 2006. After graduating from Clemson in 2010, he moved back to Raleigh and wrote a novel, "SCHOOL." over the course of the next two years, which will be published in March 2014. After moving to Charleston in 2012, Hunter re-focused on his love for comedy.

He is a guest humor columnist for The Daily Pulp, an online humor/sports blog, and also a blogger for Charleston Grit--covering all things local, Charleston culture. As a standup, he has performed in shows around the Charleston area for one year, most recently in the Theatre 99 Stand Up Comedy Competition, where he has been voted on to the semi-finals in November. He also takes improv classes at Theatre 99.
