Nobody’s Token grew up on sitcoms from the 1980s and 1990s and we’ve mastered the comedy of improv sitcom. Fast-paced, energetic, and hilarious, Nobody’s Token brings its unique comedy to NYC. Taking archetypes from American sitcoms and twisting them into a fresh and exciting blend.
Trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade and The People’s Improv, this improv group brings all the tricks of the trade to wacky next-door neighbors, lovable loser Dads, nerdy sisters, popular jocks.
Nobody’s Token features an all African-American cast of talented improv actors and stand-up comedians reinventing sitcoms and live improv. Something new is happening in comedy from one of America’s oldest TV formats.
