Bryson Turner

Stand-up comedian Bryson Turner spends most of his time onstage wondering how he can be 25 years old and still feel nothing like a grown-up. Both his act and this clip revolve around his experiences being a "part-time adult" - the term he coined to describe the beautiful disaster known as his 20's.

Bryson has been performing stand-up for about seven years, since his freshman year of college at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. In the past few years he has begun to gain more and more accolades for his open and revealing style of stand-up. In 2008, he finished 2nd in the Washington, DC Improv's annual Stand-Up Showcase Finals, and performed in that year's DCComedyFest.

2009 brought even more honors, as Bryson moved to Austin, Texas, and was named the winner of the prestigious 2009 Funniest Person in Austin contest. He was the only comic in Texas to advance to the semi-final rounds of both the Funniest Person in Austin and Funniest Comic in Dallas competitions. He was also selected to represent Austin, Texas, and Cap City Comedy Club as a finalist in the People's Choice Comic competition for a spot at the 2009 Aspen RooftopComedy Festival. As further proof of his rising place in the stand-up community, Bryson was also chosen to perform at the first annual Bentzen Ball in October of 2009, presented by Tig Notaro and featuring some of the best young stand-up comics from around the country.
