Sketch Comedy Master Class Workshops

NCCAF offers workshops to help you create great solo pieces that maximize your comedic abilities and keep audiences wanting more of you.

NOTE: Festival participants who elected to register for the Saturday Workshop Package receive a "student" discount on Master Class Workshops. Details about the included "Saturday" workshops will be sent the week of the Festival.

Solo Comedy with Paul Thomas

For the experienced and not-so-experienced, this workshop will help you develop discipline, build momentum with your writing goals and help make you a more effective overall performer. Paul helps you focus on crafting structurally sound scenes, creating multi-faceted characters, and performing with confidence.

Limited to 10 students.

Sketch Practice with DSI Comedy School

DSI writing classes provide a structured environment where you can learn the craft of sketch comedy writing, develop game-based sketch ideas in a constructive and critical environment, and produce work to help build your writing portfolio. Work with Artistic Director Paula Pazderka and get a taste of our sketch comedy philosophy at the DSI Comedy Theater.
