Behavior, Point of View, and Physicality are hugely important in creating, discovering, exploring, and heightening Character and Relationship in scenes. This workshop identifies key elements in establishing, growing, and synthesizing Character - specifically as examined through analysis of Pattern of Behavior, Worldview / Point of View, and Physical characterization.
Eric Hunicutt is an actor, director, writer, teacher and coach. He's been performing for three decades, everything from Shakespeare in a cemetery to sketch comedy in dive bars, television, feature and short films, music videos, live theatre, and over 20 years of consistently performing all kinds of improv - from short form games to Harolds to duo shows. He is a member of the acclaimed ensemble The Reckoning, which formed at iO Chicago and continues to perform in LA at iO West every Thursday evening. Eric has been a member of the teaching faculty at iO West for 10 years. Additionally, he is a member of the teaching staff at Steppenwolf Classes West, Warner Loughlin Studios, The Art of Acting, AK Studios, and more. He has taught students of all levels, from series regulars and Broadway vets to beginning improvisers, including workshops and classes at festivals, regional theaters, as guest faculty at UC San Diego, and annually at California State University's Summer Arts intensive.
