PLAY, An Improv Intensive with Holly Laurent

SATURDAY 2/25 @ 1:00pm-4:00pm at DSI Comedy Theater

This workshop is designed for improvisers who want to strengthen their play through listening, agreeing, accessing themselves more wholeheartedly and mastering long form more passionately. We will begin with slowing down the mind and becoming present. We will isolate more conscious listening and then work on how to access more courage, acceptance, honesty and risk. We will use this to enter scenes faster, play with more imagination, be in relationships with stakes, and play gritty, funny, twisted characters. We will work on making you the best editor in your group and get you actually improvising instead of planning and judging.
